Kit Bergman is passionate about teaching and brings years of experience to the SJAM drum program. His approach is student-centered, mixing technical development with musical exploration. Willy is known for his patience, energy, and ability to adapt lessons to the individual needs of each student.

Whether you’re just getting started or preparing for an audition, Kit will guide you toward your musical goals with clarity and enthusiasm.

“I grew up in a home where many different types of music were played. I started learning drums through private lessons at age 9, and by the time I was 18, I was playing in various venues. Over the past 35 years, I’ve been fortunate to have played in many bands for theatre, live radio, television, and recording studios. I desire to pass on what I’ve learned to my students of all ages in order for them to develop their own creativity and musical style.”
