Ms. Wang received her master’s degree in Piano Performance from the University of Florida, where she studied with Dr. Jasmin Arakawa. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Music Education at Wuhan Conservatory of Music in China, along with two Certificates in Teaching. Born and raised in China, Ms. Wang has been teaching piano professionally in the United States and China over five years. Ms. Wang also served as a graduate teaching assistant at UF, instructing both one-on-one piano lessons and group piano classes. She constantly maintained favorable evaluations from her students.
Wang participated in numerous international piano festivals and competitions, and performed in various concert halls across the United States, Germany, and China. In addition, Wang worked as a keyboardist (Piano and Celesta) for the University of Florida Symphony Orchestra.
As a piano teacher, Ms. Wang believes that music is a universal language, and every child has the ability to learn and love music. The teacher’s role is to find the student’s potential and nurture it. Since every student is unique, Wang always strives to optimize her teaching method for each student and help them reach their goals. Wang also believes that learning piano can help students develop creativity, concentration, diligence, and perseverance.
