Caleb Cadaing

Trumpet, Theory, and Beginner Piano Instructor

Caleb Cadaing is a trumpet player, composer, and private instructor from Fremont, California. He graduated from California Baptist University in April 2019 with a Bachelor of Music in Composition.

Mr. Cadaing has been playing trumpet since the fourth grade. In his time on trumpet, he has developed experience in a diverse background of performance environments and groups including jazz band, concert band/wind ensemble, orchestra, pit orchestra, and even a Dixieland band, with which he recorded three CD’s in high school and participated in a two week tour to Europe. 

Mr. Cadaing attended California Baptist University from 2015-2019, where he studied music theory and composition with Dr. Glenn Pickett and Dr. Joshua Rodriguez. He also continued playing trumpet, continuing participation in various performance groups and taking private lessons with Mr. Rich Chasin, principal trumpet of the South Coast Symphony, and Mr. Barry Perkins, principal trumpet of the Pacific Symphony and recording artist for many blockbuster films. Additional studies in college include conducting, basic piano, ukulele, and music education.
