5 Tips to Improve Piano Sight Reading

1. Don’t look at your hands – it slows you down.

2. Sit straight in front of the music so your eyes can easily track; sit in the middle of the bench

3. Remember to maintain a steady beat.

4. Listening to classical music will make you a better player. It doesn’t matter what instrument you play or what type of music you prefer to play.

5. Relax and have fun! You don’t have to play perfectly.
